The airport of Copenhagen, founded in 1925, is the main airport in Denmark. Is located near the city of Copenhagen and also serves the Swedish city of Malmö through Øresundsbron. It was one of the first civilian airports in the world.
 
Copenhagen Airport is located on the island of Amager, about 8 km from Copenhagen, and 24 km from Malmö via the Øresund bridge.

Opened in 1925, it was one of the first civilian airports in the world. Copenhagen Airport is the largest airport in Scandinavia and serves the local market connecting Northern Europe to the world, with direct flights to four continents.
 
Copenhagen Airport is owned by Københavns Lufthavne (Copenhagen Airports A/S) which also owns and operates Roskilde Airport. In close collaboration with the Danish Technological Institute, a consortium led by Copenhagen Airport (CPH) in collaboration with 14 other European partners won an EU tender in 2020 to create the sustainable airport of the future.

Transport to/from Copenhagen airport
Train
Trains from Copenhagen to the airport, and vice versa, every 10 minutes. Regional and intercity trains link the airport with Denmark and southern Sweden. At the airport, the ticket office is located in Terminal 3 above the railway station. You can take the free shuttle bus connecting Terminal 1 and Terminal 3, where the station is located. The bus journet last about 5 minutes.
 
Metro
The travel time from Nørreport Station in central Copenhagen to the airport, and vice versa, is 15 minutes.
At the airport, metro station is at the end of Terminal 3. The Metro is active at 4-6 minute intervals during the day and evening and in 15-20 minute intervals during the night.
 
Shuttle bus
The shuttle bus of Copenhagen Airport runs from the Car Rental Centre to Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 and continues to the train station in Terminal 3 and the parking area (P15 and P17/P19).
