SAS connect smaller regional airports with larger hubs, with departures to and from Scandinavia and, as a part of Star Alliance to destinations worldwide.
 
The fleets of SAS are: Airbus A319, A320, A320neo, A32, A330-300, A340-3001, Boeing 737-600, 700, 800, CRJ900. SAS is modernizing its short and long haul fleet with new aircraft, taking deliveries of new Airbus A320neo, Airbus A330 Enhanced and Airbus A350s aircraft.
 
On 2013, a joint venture between SAS and Singapore Airlines on traffic between Scandinavia and Singapore commenced. In addition, SAS co-operates with a number of selected airlines, serving more regional markets.
