New codeshare agreement between Scandinavian Airlines and Tarom

Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) and Tarom strengthen their collaboration through a new commercial codeshare agreement. The partnership expands connectivity between Scandinavia and Romania, offering seamless travel options across major European hubs.

The launch coincides with the first travel date, February 9, 2026. SAS customers will have access to services operated by Tarom between Bucharest and major European hubs such as those in the cities of Amsterdam, Brussels, Frankfurt and Prague, with connections on SAS-operated flights to Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm. 

Tarom will apply its code to these SAS flights between the hubs and Scandinavia. Passengers travelling on these codeshare flights will also benefit from Scandinavian Airlines' (SAS) onboard experience, including the launch of high-speed Starlink WiFi on all operated flights.
