The Rome Ciampino General Aviation Terminal is a structure of excellence of about 1,800 square meters, designed to meet the highest standards of executive traffic. Completely renovated in 2016, it stands out for its elegance, functionality and attention to detail, making it one of the leading General Aviation terminals in Europe today.

During the renovation work, the Terminal was the first in Europe to obtain the prestigious LEED GOLD level environmental certification, an international recognition that attests to the commitment to sustainable construction. This goal has been achieved thanks to design choices aimed at energy and water efficiency, the reduction of CO₂ emissions, the environmental quality of the interior spaces and the use of environmentally friendly materials.

Inside the Terminal, the specialized staff of Aeroporti di Roma (ADR) takes care of every phase of the journey with attention and discretion, offering a tailor-made welcome service for passengers and crews. Guests can access an exclusive lounge overlooking the aircraft aprons and a private buvette, environments designed to ensure maximum comfort and the necessary privacy both during departure and arrival.

The square in front of the structure has five dedicated parking areas, easily reachable on foot, which allow quick and efficient embarkation and disembarkation operations. The infrastructural offer is completed by security gates and confidential passport controls, equipped with the most advanced technologies in the airport sector.

Confirming the sustainable vision that guides the development of the airport, SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel) is now available at Ciampino airport, a biofuel that allows CO₂ emissions to be reduced by up to 90% compared to conventional fuel. To encourage its adoption, a communication campaign has been launched specifically aimed at General Aviation users.
