ACJ TwoTwenty, the extra-large bizjet for Asia

Airbus Corporate Jets strengthens the presence of the extra-large business jet in the Asia-Pacific region, designed for intercontinental flights, larger cabin, autonomy over 12 hours and technical support in Singapore

Airbus Corporate Jets has commenced deliveries of the ACJ TwoTwenty in the Asia-Pacific region, marking the debut of Airbus' new extra-large business jet in one of the most dynamic markets for private aviation. The first aircraft delivered in Asia is the fourth ACJ TwoTwenty to enter service worldwide.

The first three units of the ACJ TwoTwenty were delivered to the Middle East between 2023 and 2025. The next two customers are in Asia, with further deliveries expected in the coming years, confirming the region's growing interest in flight solutions with greater space, range and comfort.

The first Asian delivery also represents the first turnkey contract for the ACJ TwoTwenty. In this case, the interior was completed prior to delivery by Comlux, under the cabin project management by Airbus Corporate Jets. Once in service, the aircraft will be operated and maintained by Jet Aviation.

Local support will play an important role for Asian customers. Jet Aviation's Singapore office joined the ACJ Service Centre network in March 2025, offering authorised maintenance, refurbishment and warranty services in one of Asia's leading aviation hubs.

The ACJ TwoTwenty was created to create a new category in the business aviation segment: the "extra large bizjet". Based on the Airbus A220 platform, it offers a much larger cabin than traditional long-haul business jets with comparable price, while maintaining fuel efficiency, intercontinental range and competitive operating costs.

For customers flying heavy or ultra-long-range private jets, the main advantage is the space on board. For the same purchase cost, the ACJ TwoTwenty offers a cabin about two and a half times larger than competing business jets, with more configuration possibilities for work, relaxation, meetings and entertainment during the flight.

Another strategic element concerns operational performance. Despite being larger and heavier than a traditional business jet, the ACJ TwoTwenty can take off from shorter runways, a significant feature for airports dedicated to business aviation such as Seletar in Singapore. This allows it to operate with maximum take-off weight and full fuel, maintaining a competitive practical range even from the most compact stopovers.

With a range of up to 5,650 nautical miles, equivalent to over 12 hours of flight time, the ACJ TwoTwenty can directly connect numerous cities in Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and beyond. For example, routes such as Hong Kong-Anchorage, Singapore-Auckland and Jakarta-Ankara, covering most of the operational needs of customers in the region.

The aircraft can operate on a blend of up to 50% sustainable aviation fuel, SAF, while maintaining the technical specifications of Jet A fuel. Airbus expects that by 2030 all its commercial aircraft and helicopters will be able to fly with 100% SAF, contributing to the industry's decarbonisation journey.
