Embraer's new Phenom 300EV
Embraer's Phenom 300EV is the new evolution of the Phenom 300, the world's best-selling light jet for 14 consecutive years. The new model introduces targeted upgrades to safety, performance, connectivity and cabin comfort, with the aim of offering owners and operators an even more efficient, intuitive and versatile jet.
The Phenom 300EV reaches a top speed of Mach 0.80 and brings the range up to 2,055 nautical miles, or 3,806 km, with NBAA IFR reserves. It also increases the maximum weight without fuel, with approximately 430 pounds more payload capacity, thus maintaining one of the best payload levels in the class.
Garmin Emergency Autoland on the Phenom 300EV
One of the most relevant updates concerns security. The Phenom 300EV becomes the largest business jet equipped with Garmin Emergency Autoland, a system capable of automatically performing a full landing in the unlikely event of pilot incapacity.
The Garmin G3000 Prodigy Touch avionics suite also integrates the exclusive Autobrake, Autothrottle, Emergency Descent Mode and the Runway Overrun Awareness & Alerting System, developed to increase awareness of the risk of going off the track.
In addition to these systems, there is the Synthetic Vision Guidance System, the functions dedicated to situational awareness during taxiing and runway operations, FANS 1/A+, RNP AR 0.3 and Inertial Reference System.
A new electronic system developed by Embraer
Supporting the new functions is the Multi-Purpose Electronic Controller, developed directly by Embraer. The system integrates the rudder-by-wire and other electronic functions of the aircraft, with the aim of reducing the workload of pilots and simplifying maintenance activities.
For owners and operators, the evolution is therefore not only about the flight experience, but also about aircraft management and operational efficiency in the long term.
Increased autonomy and operational reliability
In addition to increasing range and load capacity, the Phenom 300EV introduces new True Blue Power lithium-ion batteries and LED lights for taxiing and landing. These are updates designed to improve reliability and operational availability, two aspects that are particularly relevant for those who use the jet with high frequency or within corporate and charter fleets.
The cabin of the Phenom 300EV
The interior continues to follow Embraer's Design DNA philosophy, with a greater focus on functionality and control of the on-board environment. The Phenom 300EV maintains a maximum cabin altitude of 6,600 feet, one of the best values in its class, contributing to comfort during longer flights. The cabin also benefits from the largest windows in its class, one of the largest luggage compartments among light jets and a sturdy entry ladder inspired by aircraft with larger cabins.
More comfort on board
New features in the cabin include an odourless vacuum toilet, a more advanced temperature control system and a redesigned refreshment centre. The latter also offers more flexibility in the choice of hot drink machine to be installed on board. An air ionization system has also been introduced, designed to further improve the perceived quality of the cabin environment.
LEO and Starlink connectivity
A particularly interesting upgrade for those who use the jet for business travel is the introduction of global connectivity via satellites in low Earth orbit. The Phenom 300EV can be configured directly into production with Gogo Galileo, while Starlink will be available later as an aftermarket solution through Supplemental Type Certificate. The possibility of having a fast and stable connection even in flight reinforces the positioning of the Phenom 300EV as a light jet also suitable for intensive professional use.
With the Phenom 300EV, Embraer evolves the formula of the series by focusing on greater autonomy, safety, connectivity, reliability and comfort. The new light jet introduces superior technologies and benefits from Embraer's global service network, with advantages in terms of uptime, cost predictability and value retention.
