flydubai elevates the travel experience in Economy
flydubai, the Dubai-based airline, improves the travel experience for its passengers. Starting in November 2025, all Economy Class flight tickets will include in-flight meals and entertainment, marking a decisive step towards a more complete and comfortable experience on every flight.
Comfort and attention at every stage of the journey
Over the past few years, flydubai has introduced improvements at every point of the customer experience, from check-in to arrival.
Among the most recent initiatives:
- a Business Class check-in area for a smoother and more personalized start to your journey;
- the new Business Class Lounge at Terminal 2 at Dubai International Airport (DXB), a space designed to offer comfort, efficiency and premium hospitality before departure.
In-flight entertainment that lives up to expectations
On board, passengers can access a multilingual and interactive entertainment system, designed for every age and preference.
The offer includes:
- over 1,000 international films, from Hollywood to Bollywood, and Arab productions;
- hit TV series from HBO Max, BBC Kids and Cartoon Network;
- games, digital magazines, 700 music albums, podcasts and up-to-date travel guides.
An immersive experience that transforms every flight into a moment of relaxation and discovery.
Kitchen at 10,000 meters
Every meal on board flydubai is carefully curated to reflect the cultural diversity of the destinations served. The onboard menu features dishes inspired by local flavors from Africa, Europe, India, the Middle East, Russia and Southeast Asia, as well as refreshing snacks and drinks. The proposals vary according to the route and duration of the flight, always offering an authentic and quality experience.
A young and ever-growing fleet
To support its global expansion, flydubai continues to modernize and expand its fleet. During 2025, the company has already received nine new Boeing 737s, bringing the fleet to 95 aircraft, with three more arriving by the end of the year. In parallel, a retrofit program is underway for the Boeing 737-800 Next-Generation, introducing lie-flat seats in Business Class and new ergonomic Economy seats with a contemporary design.
Looking to the future
Starting in 2027, the arrival of the new Boeing 787 Dreamliners will mark the beginning of a new phase for the company. The Dreamliners will enable flydubai to expand its long-haul network, increase capacity on the most popular routes and offer even higher levels of comfort and service on board flights to/from Dubai International Airport (DXB).
