From May 12 to 23, 2026, Air France renews its link with the Cannes Film Festival, of which it is an official partner for the 46th consecutive year. On the occasion of the 79th edition of the event, the company inaugurates the third season of its private beach on the Croisette, a space designed to combine hospitality, cuisine and French style in one of the most iconic places on the Côte d'Azur.

La Plage Air France, adjacent to the beach of the Hôtel Martinez, presents itself as an elegant oasis in the heart of Cannes. The space includes a private restaurant with about 30 seats, an outdoor lounge, a bar and sunbeds facing the sea. Access is open to Festival participants by reservation, from 10:00 to 18:00.

This year, the concept pays homage to two symbols of Air France excellence: the Concorde, the legendary supersonic aircraft whose 50th anniversary of its first commercial flight will be celebrated in 2026, and La Première, the company's most exclusive cabin. The result is an experience that tells the story of luxury travel according to Air France, between memory, design and contemporary service.

For lunchtime, the restaurant offers an atmosphere inspired by the Great White Bird, the nickname of the Concorde. The menu, with drinks included, is available for 97 euros by reservation. The setting overlooking the sea offers visitors to the Festival a moment of respite from the liveliness of the Croisette, while maintaining the scenographic and refined character of the event.

In the evening, however, the space is reserved for the company's guests for private dinners dedicated to the La Première universe. Chef Mory Sacko signs the appetizer and main course, presenting creations designed for passengers in the La Première cabin on flights between Abidjan and Paris-Charles de Gaulle. The desserts are curated by Claire Heitzler, named Pastry Chef of the Year 2013 by Gault & Millau and already responsible for the sweet proposals served in La Première on flights departing from Paris.

Among the novelties of 2026, Air France also offers an exclusive experience directly on the sand, overlooking the sea, designed to evoke the atmosphere of a La Première suite. Festival attendees can book a caviar and wine tasting, accompanied by the interior fragrance AF001, created for Air France by Francis Kurkdjian, French master perfumer and artistic director of the Maison Francis Kurkdjian.

The proposal includes Sturia Osciètre caviar paired with Charles Heidsieck's Blanc des Millénaires, or Gérard Bertrand's Clos du Temple rosé served with Sturia Caviar d'Aquitaine PGI. There is also a non-alcoholic alternative with the French rosé Bloom, again accompanied by a selection of Sturia Caviar d'Aquitaine caviar. The caviar and wine experience is available for 52 euros.

Throughout the day, the lounge enhances the art of French hospitality, with a setting that recalls the aesthetic codes of La Première: shades of gray, bright white and red details, the company's signature color. Completing the identity of the space is the winged seahorse, the historic emblem of Air France and a symbol of the La Première universe.

Special flights from Hollywood to the French Riviera

On May 11 and 25, 2026, Air France will operate two special flights with direct connection between Los Angeles and Nice. The flights will be operated with Airbus A350s equipped with the airline's latest generation cabins.
