CTA Airport
Catania
Catania-Fontanarossa Airport serves an extensive catchment area of over 3 million inhabitants in seven provinces of central-eastern Sicily – over 60% of the territory.

The passenger terminal, inaugurated in 1981 and based on a 1960s project, has undergone restoration work over the years that has resulted in a new terminal on two levels (arrivals and departures), additional boarding piers and gates, as well as a new 30-metre control tower. In 2007 the airport of Catania was named after Vincenzo Bellini.

One additional terminals were opened in 2018: the Terminal C.  Terminal C is used exclusively by easyJet for flights to destinations in the Schengen area. Passengers on non-Schengen area flights instead pass through Terminal A.
Terminal C is located on the ground floor, after the bus terminal (an area that houses ticket offices and buses).
