Wizz Air opens base at Turin Airport
Wizz Air strengthens its presence in Italy by choosing Turin as its new strategic hub and opening its seventh base in the country. From 14 September 2026, the first aircraft will be operational, followed by a second from 25 October, with an increase in capacity of around 500,000 seats per year for each aircraft.
For passengers departing from the Piedmontese capital, it translates into more frequencies, new routes and expanded connectivity on both the domestic and international network. In total, around 1.3 million seats will be available on 16 routes to 8 countries in 2026.
The expansion of the base results in direct connections from Turin to various destinations:

- Naples: daily from 1 December 2026
- Palermo: up to 2 flights per day from 14 September 2026
