Wizz Air flies from Lamezia Terme to Malpensa and Turin
Wizz Air strengthens flights between Northern and Southern Italy with two new domestic routes to Lamezia Terme, operational from 25 October 2026. The company will connect Calabria with Milan Malpensa and Turin, thus expanding travel possibilities for those traveling for vacation, work or to reach friends and family.
The new Milan Malpensa-Lamezia Terme route will be operated twice a day, every day, while the Turin-Lamezia Terme connection will have five weekly frequencies, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.
With the new flights to Lamezia Terme, Wizz Air's domestic network reaches 26 domestic routes. The company thus continues to strengthen its presence on the Italian market, where it is currently the second carrier by market share.
For those traveling between Northern Italy and Calabria, the main news are the increase in available frequencies and the addition of new direct options. The double daily connection from Milan Malpensa offers greater freedom in choosing schedules, while the new route from Turin expands the accessibility of Calabria also from Piedmont. Both flights to/from Lamezia Terme Airport will be available throughout the winter season.
