Wizz Air and Torino Airport inaugurate new base
Wizz Air inaugurates its new base of operations at Turin Airport, the airline's seventh in Italy. The first Airbus A321neo has been operational since 14 September 2026, while a second aircraft will be based at the Piedmont airport from 25 October.
The opening of the base at Turin airport brings 10 new routes. From 14 September 2026, connections will start to Barcelona, with 11 weekly flights, Bilbao, with 3 frequencies, and Rome (Fiumicino), also with 11 flights per week. From 15 September, Valencia will be added with 4 weekly flights.
The network will then grow with Lamezia Terme and Madrid from 25 October, Malaga from 26 October, Sharm el Sheikh from 27 October, Naples from 1 December and Suceava from 18 December.
These destinations will be joined from 16 January 2027 by Saturday connections to Wroclaw, Gdansk, Katowice and Prague.
Overall, Wizz Air's network from Turin reaches 23 routes to 10 countries, including Bucharest, Budapest, Catania, Chisinau, Iasi, London (Luton Airport - LTN), Palermo, Tirana and Warsaw.
