Palma de Mallorca Airport, the gateway for the millions of tourists who visit the Island, is located 8 km from the city. Airport traffic is primarily international and reaches its greatest levels during the summer season. There are also numerous connections to the mainland and the most important connections are: Barcelona, Madrid, Dusseldorf and Cologne. The largest number of passengers came from Germany, Spain and the United Kingdom. The new terminal, opened in 1997, was designed by the Majorcan architect Pere Nicolau Bonet.

Line 21 connects with several hotels along Palma beach with the airport. Frequency: every 30 minutes, approximately.

 

Palma de Mallorca Airport is connected with the centre of city with Ma-15. Journey time: 14 minutes.

 

The Taxi service (Radiotaxi; Fono Taxi; Palma Taxi) connects the Palma de Mallorca with the airport, that has a well-signposted taxi rank outside the arrivals area of Terminal.
