Abu Dhabi International Airport is 38 km to the south-east of the centre of Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. The airport is the hub of the flag carrier airline Etihad Airways. The airport has 3 passenger Terminals.
 
Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH) is growing rapidly and is managed by Abu Dhabi Airports, a public corporation, wholly owned by the Abu Dhabi government. To meet the growing demand, Abu Dhabi Airports has started the construction of the Midfield Terminal Building (MTB) and the Midfield Terminal Complex (MTC) that provide an ultramodern Terminal 3 dedicated to Etihad Airways, a new 4,100 meters North Runway, the complete renovation of Terminal 1, a new control tower, a new Arrivals Hall and a VIP terminal.

Transport to/from the airport
Bus
From its three terminals, buses leave for the city centre of Abu Dhabi. The trip takes about 45 minutes. The buses pass the stops of Muroor and Street 11 and terminate at the Old Fish Market in Al Nasr Street, near NYU Abu Dhabi.
 
Taxi
Taxis are also available from/to the Airport and Abu Dhabi.
 
Rental Cars
Cars Rental in airport include Avis, Budget, Dollar, Europcar, Hertz, Thrifty.
