Pets onboard service with Etihad
Etihad Airways is making the Pets Onboard service more accessible to passengers who wish to travel in the cabin with their small dog or cat. The company is the only one in the UAE to offer this possibility.
Animals must travel in an approved carrier for the duration of the flight. In Economy, the carrier can be placed under the seat in front of the passenger, while those who want more space can purchase an additional seat for their pet. In Business, on the other hand, traveling with an animal always involves the purchase of an additional seat, so as to ensure more space and a more comfortable experience.
For passengers, the service is a useful solution especially in cases where you prefer to avoid transport in the hold and keep the animal close for the duration of the flight. The formula is designed to reduce the animal's stress and offer greater peace of mind to the owner as well.
In addition to the on-board service, Etihad provides dedicated teams to assist Travellers in preparing for their journey, helping them to coordinate the necessary requirements before departure. In addition, it offers a more convenient solution to travel with your dog or cat in the cabin with a special rate valid until May 31, 2026: 399 US dollars per way, equal to about 341 euros.
