Verona Airport: new routes for the 2025-2026 winter season

Catullo consolidates its network of connections with an enhanced offer in Europe and long haul, new leisure destinations and strategic connections to major international hubs

In the first nine months of 2025, Verona's "Valerio Catullo" airport confirmed its strategic role in the national airport landscape, with steadily growing traffic and a balance between domestic and international routes. The domestic market remains the leader, accounting for 37% of total traffic, followed by the United Kingdom (18%) and Germany (7%).

The companies Ryanair, Volotea and Neos are confirmed as the main carriers in terms of number of passengers, together representing 62% of the airport's total traffic. The three companies, with their respective short, medium and long-haul networks, guarantee complementary coverage between domestic, European and intercontinental routes.

The 2025-2026 winter season is enriched with important innovations compared to the previous year, consolidating a seasonally adjusted offer that confirms Catullo's potential as a year-round airport. The proximity to the Dolomites, home of the Winter Olympics, also strengthens the airport's positioning as a privileged gateway for international ski tourism.

Among the network carriers, Air France stands out, extending the Verona - Paris (Charles de Gaulle) connection to the entire winter period, bringing the weekly frequencies to five compared to four last summer. A result that confirms the excellent performance of the route both in terms of direct traffic and the numerous continuations to the international network of the French company.

To complete the offer of the European network, Air Dolomiti (Lufthansa Group) continues to guarantee twice-daily flights to the German hubs of Frankfurt and Munich, ensuring convenient connections to all five continents.

On the leisure outgoing front, Neos Air, with its operational base in Verona, continues to meet the demand for holidays to medium and long-haul destinations, ideal for those who want a break from the winter cold. The company confirms its leadership in exotic destinations such as Egypt and the Red Sea, Oman, Madagascar, Kenya, Tanzania, Maldives, as well as destinations in the Atlantic such as Cape Verde and, in the Caribbean, Mexico and the Dominican Republic.

Winter 2025-2026 also brings with it new European connections, in line with the expansion and seasonalization strategy of the Verona airport. easyJet expands its offer to the United Kingdom by adding new connections to Bristol and Manchester to its historic flights to London (Gatwick).

Wizz Air, leader in connections with Eastern Europe, introduces a three-weekly flight to Krakow, while Volotea, based in Verona, enriches the Spanish network with the new twice-weekly flight to Seville.
