Thai Airways strengthens Milan-Bangkok flights with Airbus A350
Thai Airways increases the capacity of direct connections between Milan Malpensa and Bangkok-Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) by introducing the Airbus A350 on daily flights operated in August and September 2026. The use of the modern aircraft will allow it to offer more seats available and a wider availability of promotional fares in one of the periods of greatest demand for travel to Thailand and Southeast Asia.
The initiative aims to respond to the growing demand for leisure and business traffic, facilitating access not only to Bangkok, but also to the numerous destinations reachable through the company's hub, including Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Korea, Japan and Australia.
Designed for long-haul routes, the Airbus A350 is one of the most modern aircraft in Thai Airways' fleet. Depending on the configuration, it can accommodate up to 339 passengers in Royal Silk and Economy classes, offering quieter cabins, greater comfort and reduced fuel consumption.
Royal Silk Class passengers have fully reclining seats in bed position, while all seats on board, including in Economy, are equipped with an individual screen, USB port, power socket and state-of-the-art entertainment system, to make long journeys more comfortable.
