British Airways: record flights to North America for summer 2025
More than 400 weekly direct connections between London and 26 North American cities, expanding the airline's global network
British Airways announces unprecedented expansion of its connections to North America for summer 2025, with more than 400 direct flights per week from London
to 26 cities in the United States, Canada and Mexico. The airline, which offers more flights between the UK and the US than any other European carrier, is also the only one to offer a First Class cabin on transatlantic flights.
Among the main innovations:
- Miami (Florida): twice-weekly service all year round, with 14 flights per week and a new lounge coming in 2025.
- Austin, (Texas): 13 weekly flights.
- Las Vegas (Nevada): 10 weekly flights during peak months.
- Pittsburgh (Pennsylvania): daily service with 7 weekly flights.
- Washington DC: 21 weekly flights.
- Vancouver (Canada): up to 14 weekly flights from Heathrow and one from Gatwick, with three daily flights between June and September.
Globally, British Airways is expanding its network with a third daily flight to Delhi, new routes to Kuala Lumpur and Jeddah, and increased frequencies to Cancun, Florence and Riyadh.
