Air Cairo, founded in 2003, is an Egyptian low-cost airline partly owned by EgyptAir. It operates scheduled flights to the Middle East and Europe as well as charter flights for tour operators.
Air Cairo has passed the IATA Operational Safety Audit Program (IOSA) and has been confirmed as a SAFA (European Safety Assessment of Foreign Airlines) compliant airline by EASA and is also a member of EASA/ECDC, ICAO and IATA.
Its headquarters are located in Cairo and its main bases are at Cairo International Airport, Sharm El Sheikh International Airport and Hurghada International Airport from where it flies to domestic and international destinations.
Air Cairo's fleet consists of Airbus A320-200, A320 neo, ATR 72-600 and Embraer 190 aircraft.
