Air Cairo's news for the summer
Air Cairo, an Egyptian airline, confirms its schedule for summer 2026 in Italy with a network of 33 weekly flights, operated from numerous Italian airports, to some of Egypt's most renowned destinations, including Sharm El-Sheikh, Hurghada, Luxor and Cairo, responding to the needs of leisure tourism.
Currently, Air Cairo's fleet consists of 40 aircraft: 31 Airbus A320neo, 3 Embraer E190 and 6 ATR 72-600.
Thanks to the combination of aircraft of different sizes and capacities, the company is able to serve both medium-haul routes to major international destinations and more specific domestic connections, optimizing flight frequency and seat availability, with the aim of ensuring a reliable and quality travel experience.
From Italy, Air Cairo's flights in summer 2026 will connect major cities with iconic destinations from the following Italian airports:
- Sharm el Sheikh from Milan Malpensa, Milan Bergamo, Bologna, Rome, Naples, Bari, Catania.
- Hurghada from Milan Malpensa.
- Luxor/Aswan/Cairo from Milan Malpensa, Rome and Verona.
- Cairo from Milan Malpensa.
Air Cairo's schedule is designed to respond to the growing demand for travel to the seaside resorts of the Red Sea and the cities of the Pharaonic civilization, such as Luxor, Aswan and Cairo.
Air Cairo participates in the TTG Travel Experience in Rimini, from 8 to 10 October 2025, in Hall C1 - Stand 426, in collaboration with Non Solo Sogni, appointed as the new GSA (General Sales Agent) for Italy from 6 August 2025.
