AeroItalia

Aeroitalia is an Italian airline founded with the aim of satisfying a demand for air transport capable of adapting to the changing needs of the market, developing a competitive product in the aviation sector. The company is led by CEO Gaetano Francesco Intrieri.

Aeroitalia began flight operations in 2022 from Forlì airport and operates charter and scheduled routes to destinations in Italy and Europe, with a particular focus on Southern Italy and the islands.

In 2023, Aeroitalia acquired 93.86% of the shares of AirConnect, a Romanian regional airline, to strengthen connections with Rome (Fiumicino), its main hub. Meanwhile, its operational bases are in Cagliari, Catania, Olbia, and Palermo.

Aeroitalia's fleet consists of Boeing B-737/800 aircraft (with 189 seats in economy class), ATR 72/600 aircraft with a capacity of 68 seats, and Embraer operated for Aeroitalia by Marathon Airlines.

The airline Aeroitalia stands out for its attention to safety, investing in qualified and experienced personnel from other national airlines.
