Aeroitalia flies from Genoa to Alghero, Olbia and Rome

From Genoa airport, the company launches new flights between Liguria and Sardinia for Summer 2026, which are added to the route to Fiumicino airport

Frequencies of the Genoa-Rome Fiumicino flight:

  • Monday to Friday: morning (Genoa-Rome at 8:00 am; Rome-Genoa at 10:20); evening (Genoa-Rome at 18:05; Rome-Genoa at 21:05);  
  • on weekends: Saturday (Genoa-Rome at 8:00 am; Rome-Genoa at 10:20); Sunday (Genoa-Rome at 18:05; Roma-Genoa at 21:05). 


The new routes for Summer 2026
For the summer season, Aeroitalia will enhance flights between Liguria and Sardinia, introducing two new routes to Alghero and Olbia, which offer Ligurian passengers more travel opportunities to Sardinia's main tourist destinations.


Frequency details:

  • Genoa-Alghero operational from 5 June 2026: Monday and Friday with 2 weekly frequencies (Genoa-Alghero at 12:40; Alghero-Genoa at 14:50);
  • Genoa-Olbia operational from 4 June 2026: Thursdays and Sundays with 2 weekly frequencies (Genoa-Olbia at 12:20; Olbia-Genoa at 14:40).

 

 

Enrico Musso, President of Genoa Airport, underlined that "the new connection with the capital and two new routes to a strategic destination such as Sardinia testify to the newfound attractiveness of Cristoforo Colombo in the airport geography of Italy". The airport today connects 24 destinations between Italy and Europe.
