Opened to traffic in 2021, Forlì "Luigi Ridolfi" Airport is named after the well-known aviator from Forlì and serves the city of Forlì. The airport has a 2,561-metre-long runway, used for commercial traffic but also for private and general aviation flights.

Bus
Forlì Airport can be reached using public transport:
- from the center of Forlì by city bus to/from FS station no. 7;
- from Cesena, suburban bus no. 92 Seganti stop (250 meters from the entrance to the airport);
- from Faenza, suburban bus Line 189 with a stop at the bus point/Forlì railway station and then bus no. 7 and/or taxi;
- from Ravenna, extra-urban bus Line 156 with a stop at the bus point/railway station Forlì and then bus no. 7 and/or taxi.
Car
Forlì Airport is located near the main arteries of the region. The A14 motorway exit (Bologna-Taranto) is 5 kilometers away, as is the railway station in the historic city center.
For those traveling by car from Bologna or Ancona, the Forlì exit is recommended. From there, you can take the Tangenziale Est SS 727 Bis and follow the signs for the airport by choosing one of the following junctions:
- junction no. 9 Ronco, in the direction of Viale Roma,
- junction no. 10, to continue on Via Montaspro.
The distance on the ring road takes about 10 minutes.
