ITA Airways and Aeroitalia offer connecting flights

A single route connects the ITA Airways network with Cagliari, Alghero, Olbia, Catania, Palermo, Comiso and Genoa, as well as new national and international connections

ITA Airways and Aeroitalia have started the sale of interline flights for the remaining part of the summer 2026 season and for the Winter 2026/2027 season. The agreement allows passengers to book integrated itineraries between the networks of the two companies, expanding the possibilities of connection on the Italian territory.

Through the ITA Airways website and other sales channels, it is now possible to purchase connected trips to destinations served by Aeroitalia in Sardinia - Cagliari, Alghero and Olbia - in Sicily - Catania, Palermo and Comiso - as well as Genoa.

Aeroitalia's indirect sales channels offer connections to some Italian destinations operated by ITA Airways, including Bari, Brindisi, Turin, Venice and Reggio Calabria. Shortly, once the technical adjustments have been completed, it will also be possible to purchase itineraries on the Aeroitalia website in connection with the entire international network of ITA Airways.

For passengers, the agreement offers more travel combinations and more opportunities for onward flights between domestic, international and intercontinental flights. The collaboration also aims to improve the connectivity of Sardinia, Sicily and the other airports involved, supporting travel for tourism, work and visits to family and friends.
