Emirates renews its lounge at Milan Malpensa Airport
Emirates strengthens its presence in Italy with the official reopening of its exclusive lounge at Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP), which has been completely renovated to offer an even more sophisticated ground travel experience in line with the airline's premium standards.
The investment of 2.2 million euros (about 9.7 million Dirhams) confirms the Emirati airline's constant commitment to guaranteeing its customers maximum comfort, starting from the terminal.
The new lounge, located in Satellite B 3-3 of Terminal 1, spans 1,060 square metres and has been redesigned to reflect a sleek and modern aesthetic.
With 203 seats between ergonomic armchairs and large sofas, the space now offers a more airy, welcoming and refined environment, designed for relaxing or working before the flight.
Food service is one of the lounge's strengths, with offerings ranging from freshly prepared hot dishes to regional Italian specialities, classic desserts and a curated selection of international beverages.
Guests can also enjoy high-speed Wi-Fi, a dedicated prayer room and direct access to the aircraft via finger, allowing them to board without leaving the comfort of the lounge.
The lounge operates daily in two time slots – from 10:00 to 16:10 and from 18:20 to 22:20 – on the two daily Emirates flights operated with Airbus A380s from Milan, including the extended route to New York (JFK).
In addition to First and Business Class passengers, eligible Emirates Skywards members can also access the lounge free of charge. There is also the possibility of paid admission, subject to availability.
The company strengthens its network of exclusive lounges around the world, which has 34 dedicated facilities, including the one in Rome Fiumicino. Where Emirates does not operate lounges itself, Emirates works with selected partners to ensure the same level of excellence, helping to make every leg of the journey an experience consistent with the 'Fly Better' philosophy.
