Amsterdam Schiphol opens the first Centurion Lounge in continental Europe
Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS) expands its premium offering with the opening of the new American Express Centurion Lounge. It is the 33rd lounge in the Centurion network and the first in continental Europe to bear this name. It is located between boarding halls E and F and is open daily from 6:00 am to 9:30 pm.
The structure occupies almost 550 m² and has been designed with references to Dutch art, landscape and design. Large windows, natural materials and works by local artists characterize the rooms, designed to offer Travellers different spaces to relax, work or wait for their flight.
Amenities include the Blue Roast Coffee Bar, a bar with beers and cocktails, buffets with seasonal dishes, quiet work areas, phone rooms, high-speed Wi-Fi, power outlets and USB ports. Different types of seating are available, from armchairs to high tables to more private booths.
For Schiphol, the new lounge expands the possibilities available to passengers looking for more comfort before departure. The facility joins the American Express Global Lounge Collection, which has more than 1,550 lounges in 140 countries.
In 2025, Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS) handled 66.8 million passengers and was directly connected to 301 destinations, including 125 intercontinental, confirming itself as one of the main European hubs.
