Flights for Summer from Olbia airport
118 routes with 40 airlines and 6 new destinations: Edinburgh, Figari, London (London City Airport), Nuremberg, Turin and Zurich
The growth of Olbia-Costa Smeralda Airport continues, which for the Summer season consolidates an increasingly international and widespread network. The 2025 network will have a total of 118 connections, of which 84 abroad and 34 domestic, operated by 40 airlines active in 22 countries.
Six new routes departing in Summer 2025
Among the main novelties of the summer:
- easyJet, the first airline in terms of volume of seats offered on Olbia, strengthens its presence on the UK and Swiss market with the opening of two new routes: Edinburgh and Zurich.
- British Airways, through its subsidiary BA CityFlyer, inaugurates the new direct connection to London (London City Airport), increasing the options for those flying from the British capital.
- From Germany, the first tourist market for Northern Sardinia, Condor launches the new flight to Nuremberg, further expanding the German offer.
- The debut of Corsica among the destinations reachable from Olbia is also unprecedented and strategic: thanks to Air Corsica, a direct flight with Figari will be activated, marking a new connection between the two Mediterranean islands.
- On the front of connections with the peninsula, ITA Airways will enhance the Olbia - Turin route in the summer peak period, alongside the already consolidated service of Volotea, which will maintain the annual operation on the same route.
More frequencies and longer seasons
The main partners confirm their commitment to Olbia, introducing increases in frequencies and extensions of the operating period at Olbia airport. An example above all is Lufthansa, which has brought forward the start of flights to/from Munich and Frankfurt as early as March, a sign of growing interest in the Sardinian destination even in the shoulder months.
