At Fiumicino a new Cotral terminus at Terminal 3 for buses to Rome and Lazio
For those arriving or departing from Rome Fiumicino Airport, it becomes easier to identify Cotral regional buses. In fact, a new stop hub has been activated at Terminal 3 Arrivals, created by Cotral and ADR Mobility, which brings together connections to Rome and various locations in Lazio at a single point.
The main novelty for passengers is the doubling of the stalls, now two and adjacent, accompanied by dedicated signage. The new layout makes it easier to identify the terminus and to better manage the simultaneous presence of several buses, reducing possible interference between the different lines.
Where do Cotral buses go from Fiumicino
From the new Terminal 3 hub, bus lines to Roma Eur Magliana, Roma Cornelia, Roma Termini and Roma Tiburtina are operational.
Bus connections to Termini and Tiburtina are also available at night, offering an alternative public transport for passengers arriving late or having to reach the airport in the early hours of the morning.
Cotral buses also leave from Fiumicino to Ostia Lido, Ostia Piazza Sirio, Cerveteri, Ladispoli, Civitavecchia, Santa Marinella, Tolfa, Manziana, Veiano and Blera, as well as other places in Lazio.
What changes for the passenger
The advantage is above all practical: those who use Cotral buses no longer have to look for separate stops in the airport area, but can refer to a single terminus at Terminal 3 Arrivals. The presence of two stalls also allows for a more orderly management of bus departures and makes the service more easily accessible even in the time slots of greatest overlap between the lines. The enhancement of night connections is particularly useful for those who cannot use other transport services in the evening and early morning hours. The updated timetables and routes of the Cotral bus lines to and from Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO) can be consulted on the company's website before departure.
