New flights from Rimini to Munich and Malta
Two weekly connections operated by Universal Air with a 78-seat Dash 8-400, from 5 June 2025 to 23 October 2025 every Thursday
For Summer 2025, Rimini Airport launches a new partnership with Universal Air, a Maltese airline based at Malta International Airport in Luqa. AIRiminum 2014, the management company of the international airport of Rimini and San Marino, has announced the start of a strategic collaboration with the airline Universal Air, which will start in the next summer season.
Starting from 5 June 2025 until 23 October 2025, two weekly connections will be operated: Rimini-Munich and Rimini-Malta. Flights will be operated every Thursday with a Dash 8-400 aircraft, equipped with 78 seats. Thanks to this partnership, Rimini Airport is integrated into Universal Air's network, which already serves destinations such as Casablanca, Corfu, Ibiza, Mallorca, Mayotte, Malta, Monaco, Nice, Palermo, Pecs, Réunion, Santorini and Tripoli.
As Leonardo Corbucci, CEO of Rimini Airport, explained, the partnership with Universal Air strengthens the flight schedule in 2025 to and from Rimini Airport, connecting the territory to its main market (Germany) as well as the island of Malta. The airport, with Universal Air, returns to open the German market with scheduled flights Rimini - Munich, one of the main European airport hubs.
