Wizz Air connects Rome with Santiago de Compostela

Wizz Air expands its network from Rome Fiumicino with a new direct connection to Santiago de Compostela, operational from 14 December 2026. The route will be served every Monday and Friday, offering a new possibility of travel to Galicia both for cultural stays and to reach the famous arrival point of the Camino de Santiago. Tickets are already available.

The new connection strengthens Wizz Air's offer to Spain and adds to the 80 routes already operated from the company's main Italian base.

At Rome Fiumicino , the carrier has 17 Airbus A321neo and connects Rome with destinations in 31 countries. 

For passengers, Wizz Air's direct flight allows you to reach Santiago non-stop and expands the opportunities to visit the historic center, the cathedral and the territory of Galicia during the winter season.
