Rimini

The International Rimini and San Marino Airport ("Federico Fellini") is only 8 km from the centre of Rimini and 11 km from the trade fair district in the area of Celle.
 
The main runway, which extends from over 3 km, is the longest in Emilia Romagna. Scheduled aircraft land here, as well as the most important European and non-European charter planes. 
 
AiRiminum 2014 Srl is the airport management company. 
The Master Plan of the airport over the next 30 years will be completed as a joint effort with Fraport AG, the Frankfurt Airport management company.
Il The Master Plan (2018 – 2033) of the coming years provides:  
  • Terminal extension for the Schengen Area 
  • Increase in the number of stands 
  • Development of a new logistics platform for cargo in the aerodrome.

Train
Rimini Miramare railway station is situated 1.3 km from Rimini Airport and is connected to Rimini Central station (Trenitalia).
 
Bus
Scheduled buses leave for the airport from Rimini Central Station (Trenitalia).
Bus: Start Romagna line N°9.
 
Car
Take the A14 Bologna-Taranto motorway and exit at Rimini Sud and Riccione or the E45 Ravenna-Orte and Rimini-San Marino dual carriageway. 
From South: exit A14 Riccione then on SS16 direction Rimini.
From North: exit A14 Rimini Sud then on SS16 direction Riccione.
 
Taxi
Taxi ranks (Radio Taxi) can be found in the centre of Rimini, which provide taxis to the airport.
 
Car hire
The car hire firms present at the airport are: Sicily By Car, T.Rent.
