ITA Airways official airline sponsor Milano Cortina 2026
ITA Airways is the Official Airline Sponsor of the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, supporting the third winter edition hosted by Italy with a key role in the promotion and mobility linked to the event.
The collaboration between the Italian airline and the Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee stems from a common vision, based on shared values and strategic objectives, giving prestige and impetus to the organization of the Games. An event of global scope that will involve the entire country, enhancing its excellence, uniqueness and inclusive spirit, offering an international showcase to Italian territories.
A new commercial celebrating the partnership is broadcast from this evening on all the main generalist broadcasters, satellites, streaming platforms, web and social media.
In support of the agreement, ITA Airways has also launched the "Destination Milan Cortina 2026" prize competition, reserved for all adults residing in Italy who hold an ITA Airways ticket purchased between 7 May and 30 November 2025. The competition includes the extraction of 7 monthly prizes and a final super prize, offering participants the opportunity to win exclusive experiences to experience the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games up close.
To make the initiative even more special, two Ita Airways aircraft, the A320 named after Gustav Thoeni and the A320neo dedicated to Enrico Fabris, will be decorated with illustrative stickers of the Olympic and Paralympic disciplines. The graphics, created by the famous international illustrator Emiliano Ponzi (former author of the company's Sustainability Manifesto) symbolically celebrate the union between sport, art and sustainability.
The signing of the partnership agreement, also achieved thanks to the collaboration with the Minister for Sport and Youth Andrea Abodi, was made official on the occasion of the inauguration of the new ITA Airways Runway Lounge at Milan Linate airport.
