LOT's Bologna-Warsaw flight debuts
LOT Polish Airlines has inaugurated the new direct connection between Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport and Warsaw, opening a new travel option for passengers departing from Emilia-Romagna. The first flight took off yesterday evening, March 31, marking the entry of the Polish airline into the Bologna airport with a service operating all year round.
The new route between Bologna and Warsaw is served with six weekly flights, offering Travellers good time flexibility. On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, flight LO 328 departs Bologna at 11:45 and arrives in Warsaw at 13:55 local time. On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, flight LO 330 takes off at 18:25 and arrives in the Polish capital at 20:35.
For passengers, the new service is not only a direct connection to Warsaw, but also quick access to LOT Polish Airlines' global hub (Warsaw Chopin Airport - WAW), from which they can continue to numerous destinations in Poland, Europe, Central and South Asia, the Far East and North America. Through Warsaw airport, from Bologna airport (BLQ) new travel possibilities to international destinations with a single stopover are therefore opened.
Examples of continuation reported by the company include Chicago, which can be reached from Bologna at 11:45 a.m. and arrives at 7:50 p.m. local time after 15 hours and 5 minutes of total travel; Delhi, arriving at 02:55 the next morning after 11 hours and 40 minutes; New York (JFK), arriving at 8:20 p.m. after 14 hours and 35 minutes; Tokyo, departing in the evening from Bologna at 6:25 pm and arriving at 6:30 pm the following day after a total of 17 hours and 5 minutes. Among the European destinations in connection there are also Krakow, Stockholm and Tallinn.
The flights are operated with Boeing 737 MAX8 and Embraer aircraft, with two classes of service on board: Business and Economy Class. A configuration designed to meet both business and leisure demands, offering a convenient solution for those traveling for work, tourism or city breaks.
