Emirates brings Premium Economy to Bangkok

The revamped A380 introduces the comfort and style of the Premium Economy cabin to flights between Dubai and Thailand. Positioned between Economy and Business Class, it provides 101 cm of row space and 20 cm of seat recline

Emirates has introduced its Premium Economy cabin on flights EK376/377 between Dubai and Bangkok, operated by its newly refurbished A380. The initiative marks a new step in the company's modernization program, which continues to invest in offering passengers even more comfortable and personalized travel experiences to and from Thailand and beyond.

With the arrival of the new A380, Bangkok joins the global network of more than 70 cities served by Emirates with the Premium Economy cabin. Located at the front of the main deck, the cabin has 56 seats in a 2-4-2 configuration, designed to offer an ideal balance between comfort and convenience, positioned between Economy and Business Class.

Each seat, upholstered in stain-resistant cream leather, provides 101 cm of row space, 20 cm of recline, adjustable headrests and integrated footrests. The wood-effect coffee tables and refined details complete a welcoming and modern environment.

In-flight entertainment is provided by a 13.3-inch HD screen, with Bluetooth connection and a wide selection of content on ice, Emirates' award-winning entertainment system. The dining experience is distinguished by cuisine inspired by regional flavors, served on Royal Doulton porcelain and accompanied by a premium selection of wines and beverages.

Passengers in the new cabin can enjoy 35 kg of checked baggage allowance and 10 kg of carry-on baggage.

Bangkok joins the most popular Premium Economy destinations, including New York, Lyon and London via Dubai. Emirates' modernisation programme includes the refurbishment of 219 A380s and Boeing 777s, with the aim of offering up to 2 million Premium Economy seats by the end of 2025, set to double the following year.
