Emirates and flydubai partnership consolidates global connectivity
The partnership between Emirates and flydubai represents one of the most advanced cooperation models in the airline industry, offering Travellers a seamless experience across an ever-expanding global network and rewarding customer loyalty through the Emirates Skywards programme.
A global network without borders
Thanks to the integration of the networks, passengers can access 245 destinations in 103 countries. Emirates customers can fly to 103 additional destinations served by flydubai, while flydubai passengers can fly to 107 Emirates-exclusive destinations, including Baku, Belgrade, Kathmandu, Krabi and Zanzibar.
In 2025 alone, the network has expanded further: Emirates has introduced Hangzhou, Shenzhen, Siem Reap and Da Nang, while flydubai has added Chisinau, Iasi, Nairobi, Riga and Vilnius.
A constantly growing success
Over the past year, the two airlines have carried more than 5 million passengers on codeshare flights, an increase of 10% over the previous year. Since 2017, more than 22 million Travellers have used the joint network.
Comfort and premium services
In 2025, passengers booked 20% more seats in Emirates' premium cabins (First, Business and Premium Economy), with +130% growth in Premium Economy bookings, reflecting the high demand for superior travel experiences.
The entire journey is designed to be seamless: simplified check-in, automatic baggage transfer and direct access to Dubai Terminal 3.
flydubai Business Class passengers also enjoy exclusive services at Terminal 2, such as personalised Meet & Assist, dedicated check-in and Fast Track lanes at security checkpoints.
Skywards: One loyalty programme, endless possibilities
The Emirates Skywards programme, shared by the two airlines, now has almost 18 million members who have accumulated 311 billion Skywards Miles and redeemed 303 billion.
Platinum, Gold and Silver members benefit from additional benefits such as lounge access, extra baggage allowance and priority check-in on both airlines.
Among the novelties, the program has introduced Classic Rewards, which allow you to book reward flights with a fixed number of miles: on flydubai, fares start from 5,000 Skywards Miles, with access to over 130 destinations, including summer destinations such as Bodrum, Mykonos and Olbia.
With the Cash+Miles option, members can combine miles and cash, earning a AED 100 discount with 3,500 miles.
Innovation and fleet excellence
Both companies continue to invest in improving the passenger experience. Emirates is completing the retrofit of 220 aircraft with new Premium Economy cabins, while flydubai has modernised 15 aircraft and inaugurated a dedicated Business Class check-in area at Dubai International Airport's Terminal 2 (DXB.
Today, the two airlines operate a combined fleet of 363 modern aircraft: Emirates has 267 widebodies (A380, B777 and A350), while Flydubai operates 96 Boeing 737s.
The shared goal, in line with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, is to reach a global network of 400 destinations served from Dubai, confirming the emirate's strategic role as a global aviation hub.
