Cathay Pacific is among the top three airlines in the world in 2025
The recognition comes from the Skytrax World Airline Awards, the most prestigious in the industry. The airline also received two special awards: Best Economy Class and Best Inflight Entertainment.
A success that reflects the more than HK$100 billion invested by Cathay to innovate fleet, cabins and services. New features include the new Aria Suite in Business Class, an improved Premium Economy and the revamped Economy Class, now available on select flights to London, Sydney and Vancouver.
Cathay also stands out for its culinary offerings: thanks to collaborations with Michelin-starred restaurants such as Duddell's and Louise, passengers can enjoy exclusive dishes on several international routes. The "Chinese Classics" menu also debuts in Business Class, a tribute to the flavors of Chinese cuisine.
From August, every Cathay aircraft will be connected and equipped with a personal screen, with 4K HDR content and one of the richest entertainment catalogues in Asia-Pacific. Series, movies, games, music, and podcasts from Disney+, Paramount+, and more will be updated every month.
Even on land, the experience is renewed: in Hong Kong, the completely renovated The Bridge lounge has been reopened. New lounges will also open soon in Beijing and New York.
