Tirana Airport, TIA

Tirana International Airport Nene Tereza, was constructed in two years from 1955 to 1957 and is situated near Rinas, 17 km from Tirana, the capital of Albania. The airport is operated by a private company, Tirana International Airport Shpk, since 2005. The new passenger terminal began operations in 2009, offering an expansion of the airport, new standards of comfort and service to passengers.

The bus 'Rinas Express' operates 12 hours a day, from 6.00 to 18.00, among airport and the National Museum in the center of Tirana.

The airport is 17 km from Tirana and is easy to reach from the Tirana-Durres motorway.
