Ryanair strengthens Parma, Forlì-Ravenna and Rimini
Ryanair strengthens its presence in Emilia-Romagna airports with a significant increase in offer for winter 2026. Between Forlì-Ravenna, Parma and Rimini, the company expects a total of over 160,000 seats, quadrupling capacity compared to winter 2025 and maintaining seasonal operations at all three airports.
The expansion follows the abolition of the municipal surcharge, a measure that Ryanair says is already driving capacity increases and the introduction of new connections. Between summer and winter 2026, the carrier plans to carry more than 700,000 passengers a year across the three airports, supporting more than 500 local jobs.
In Parma, where Ryanair did not operate during winter 2025, more than 60,000 seats will be made available. The schedule includes three new routes to Palermo, Reggio Calabria and London Stansted, while the expected annual traffic exceeds 200,000 passengers.
Forlì-Ravenna also increases the offer, with over 55,000 winter seats, up 35% compared to the previous year. Two routes will be operated during the season, including the new winter connection to Cagliari, while the annual traffic expected by the airport exceeds 120,000 passengers.
In Rimini, Ryanair returns to operate during the winter, after the absence of connections in the 2025 season. The offer includes over 40,000 seats and two new routes to Catania and Tirana. On an annual basis, the company expects to carry more than 380,000 passengers from the Romagna airport.
The increase in capacity therefore aims to make the connectivity of the three airports more continuous even outside the summer season, while expanding travel possibilities both on the domestic market and abroad.
