Lampedusa Airport, LMP

Lampedusa Airport is situated in the south-eastern area of the island of Lampedusa, near a town in the municipality of the same name in the Province of Agrigento, Sicily. It has a runway of 1,800 metres.

In 2012, the airport’s new terminal was inaugurated with 8 check-in desks and 4 metal detectors. The airport of Lampedusa, with its distinctive ship form, can receive medium-sized short and medium-haul aircraft, for example Airbus A320 and Boeing 737.

The airport is managed by Ast Aeroservizi Spa and is open to commercial traffic.

From Lampedusa Airport it is possible to reach the center of Lampedusa, which is about 4.5 km away, with a rental car. Once you reach the center of Lampedusa, you can also move across the island by the local bus lines (Blue and Red Line) that depart from Piazza Brignone.

From the city of Lampedusa and Linosa, follow Via Cala Francese for 4.5 km and in just 6 minutes you reach the airport.
