Brussels Airport is the main airport of Belgium and is located near Zaventem and serves the city of Brussels, which is 14 kilometers. Brussels Airport Company is the limited company to which the Belgian State has granted the licence to operate Brussels Airport.

Transportation to/from the airport
Train
The airport train station is located below the terminal (basement level-1). Up to 4 trains an hour connect the airport to Brussels North, Brussels Central and Brussels Midi stations. Furthermore there are direct train services to the East, South, West and North of Belgium.

Bus
The bus station is located on level 0 - one floor down from the arrivals hall.
Bus company (De Lijn) to/from: railway station Brussels North, the Brussels underground station Roodebeek, Mechelen, Leuven, Vilvoorde, Merchtem, Jette, Brussels Expo, Diegem, Haacht, Roodebeek, Groenendaal.
The Airport Line (MIVB/STIB buses depart from platform C) is an 30-minute express service between Brussels Airport and the European quarter.

Car
On the Brussels ring-road follow the Brussels Airport signage.

Taxi
Taxis with a taximeter are available in front of the arrivals hall. Licensed taxis can be recognized by the blue and yellow emblem.

Car hire
In the arrivals hall you will find the desks of the major car rental compagnie: Avis Budget, Enterprise, Europcar, Hertz, Sixt and Thrifty.
