Brussels Airlines Party Flights fly to Tomorrowland
Brussels Airlines kicked off the new Party Flight season for Tomorrowland with the first flight from Ibiza, which landed at Brussels Airport with 180 festival attendees. Over the next two weeks, the Belgian airline will carry a total of 24,734 passengers from 106 countries, through 409 direct flights to Belgium.
More than 1,000 Travellers will participate in one of the seven planned Party Flights, transforming the air transfer into a first experience of the festival, with live music, dedicated lighting and entertainment on board.
The first Party Flight from Ibiza to Brussels
The inaugural flight was operated by Amare, Brussels Airlines' Airbus A320neo customised with the livery dedicated to Tomorrowland.
During the trip, the plane's cabin was set up as a high-altitude music space, with a live DJ set by British producer Carly Wilford, a dedicated sound system and mood lighting.
For passengers, the Tomorrowland experience therefore began before arriving in Belgium, at an altitude of around 9,000 metres.
Special flights also from Rome, Barcelona and Prague
After the connection from Ibiza, Brussels Airlines will operate six more Party Flights departing from different European cities, including Rome, Barcelona and Prague.
The flights are part of Tomorrowland's Global Journey packages and allow attendees to reach the festival through an organized itinerary that may include air transportation, accommodation, and access to the event.
Spain is the main source market, with over 7,000 passengers heading to the festival with Brussels Airlines. Italy, Switzerland and the United Kingdom follow.
Measures for more sustainable flights
All Global Journey air packages include Tomorrowland Green Fares, designed to support measures to reduce and offset travel-related emissions.
30% of the contribution is allocated to the use of sustainable aviation fuel, while the remaining 70% finances local climate mitigation projects, including in Belgium.
Checking in your luggage directly at DreamVille
Passenger assistance continues even after the festival is over. Guests staying at the DreamVille campsite can check in their luggage at a dedicated Brussels Airlines area before reaching Brussels Airport.
The Home of Amare Ferris wheel
Inside the festival grounds, visitors can ride The Home of Amare, the Ferris wheel inspired by the aircraft that is the symbol of the collaboration between Brussels Airlines and Tomorrowland. From the structure it is possible to observe the festival site from above and experience a further point of contact between air travel and the event experience.
