F-Air Play: the Enac campaign that promotes responsible travel
The journey already begins on the ground and, this year, ENAC reminds all passengers of this with a clear and direct message: "play clean, fly serene". This is the slogan of F-Air Play, the new national campaign promoted by the National Civil Aviation Authority, starting from 1 June 2025 in all Italian airports.
F-Air Play: Play clean, fly with peace of mind
Inspired by the language and values of sport (such as respect, fairness and team spirit), the campaign aims to promote responsible and civil behaviour at airports and on board aircraft, helping to make the flight experience smoother, more inclusive and safer for everyone.
The pun on the title, which combines "fair play" and "air", sums up the spirit of the initiative: every flight is a team that works together, from passengers to airport staff, and compliance with the rules is the key to going far – even at an altitude of 10,000 metres.
The campaign will be visible throughout the summer and until the end of the year, through a series of information and visual tools:
- brochures distributed at airports, in collaboration with Assaeroporti and Aeroporti 2030,
- videos and information messages broadcast on terminal monitors,
- digital content on official ENAC channels.
The message accompanies the passenger throughout the journey – from the waiting room to boarding – promoting empathy, awareness and collaboration.
The official announcement came during the XIII FIT-CISL National Congress, held in Cagliari, where ENAC President Pierluigi Di Palma illustrated the contents of the campaign alongside the Secretary General Salvatore Pellecchia, in a panel dedicated to the protection of transport personnel.
ENAC President, Pierluigi Di Palma explained: "Travelling with fair play means respecting rules, times and people. We wanted a campaign that was not just a slogan, but focused on people, mutual respect and the defense of the rights of each passenger, representing these principles also in the graphic narrative, with people with disabilities or reduced mobility, because inclusion and enhancement of differences are a fundamental part of the ENAC policy to guarantee the right to fly to all, no one excluded".
F-Air Play is also part of the European "Unruly Passengers" campaign promoted by EASA (the European Union Aviation Safety Agency), which aims to combat aggressive and uncivil behavior at the airport and on board – a problem that is unfortunately growing, especially during busy periods.
