From Munich Airport you fly to 184 destinations

Lufthansa flights to Riyadh, Johannesburg and São Paulo start again and new long-haul routes to Bangkok, Punta Cana, Sharjah and Hong Kong are added

With the entry into force of the winter schedule, Munich Airport consolidates its role as a strategic international hub for European Travellers, offering direct connections to 184 destinations in 68 countries.

During the 2025-2026 winter season, 81 airlines will operate regular flights from Germany's second busiest airport, confirming Munich as a privileged gateway to the world's top destinations.

Among the long-haul innovations, Lufthansa restores direct connections to Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, with three weekly flights operated by Airbus A350-900, in addition to the return of routes to Johannesburg and São Paulo, which strengthen the offer to Africa and South America. The airline is also expanding its intercontinental network with Bangkok, Delhi, Los Angeles and San Francisco, served by modern Airbus A380s.

The subsidiary Discover Airlines introduces a new leisure route to Punta Cana, in the Dominican Republic, with up to three weekly flights dedicated to Travellers looking for sun and tropical relaxation during the European winter.

Cathay Pacific and EVA Air maintain their connections to Hong Kong and Taipei, guaranteeing direct flights with the latest generation aircraft and premium in-flight services.

With the addition of the new route to Sharjah, operated by Air Arabia from 15 December, the Bavarian airport also connects to the cultural emirate of the United Arab Emirates, located a few kilometers from Dubai.

Thanks to this network of connections, Munich is an ideal hub for Italian and European travellers heading to intercontinental destinations, combining comfort, efficiency and a high-level travel experience.
