New routes, more frequencies and 18 airlines operating to 38 countries for a season of city breaks and winter holidays

Milan Bergamo Airport inaugurates a 2025/2026 winter season in the name of international growth and expansion, with 107 destinations served by 18 airlines to 38 countries, recording an increase of 5% compared to the previous season.

News on destinations in Italy and Europe

  • Ryanair, the airport's main carrier, now bases 22 aircraft (two more than last winter) and operates 81 connections, increasing frequencies on 30 routes and restoring the three-weekly flight to Pescara

  • Wizz Air expands its offer, bringing the destinations operated from Bergamo to 15 with five new routes, including Chisinau (4 times a week), Bucharest Baneasa (daily), Varna, Warsaw Modlin (daily), Sibiu (three times a week from 6 January 2026) and Suceava (four times a week).

  • DanAir strengthens the route to Bacau, increasing from two to three weekly frequencies over the Christmas period.

Major expansion into the Middle East

  • FlyDubai doubles its twice-daily codeshare service with Emirates to Dubai, offering convenient connections to the Middle East, Asia, Africa and Australia
  • Air Arabia boosts flights to Sharjah, up to 11 weekly frequencies during the holiday season.
  • Air Cairo maintains the route to Sharm el-Sheikh, guaranteeing access to Egypt's Red Sea coast during the winter season.
  • Neos confirms the weekly flight to Dakar, strategic for connections with Senegal.

The growth of the network is accompanied by an improvement in the passenger experience: from 26 November 2025, the new area dedicated to security checks will be operational, equipped with the latest generation X-ray machines that allow liquids and electronics to be left in hand luggage, reducing waiting times and making the passage to Milan Bergamo Airport faster and more comfortable.
