Wizz Air's growth plan at Rome Fiumicino

New hires and increased frequencies for Alicante, Barcelona, Bilbao, Ibiza, Malaga, Mykonos, London, Palma de Mallorca, Paris, Santorini and Valencia

Wizz Air increases frequencies on key routes and will operate from Rome Fiumicino to destinations in Alicante, Barcelona, Bilbao, Ibiza, London (Luton), Malaga, Mykonos, Palma de Mallorca, Paris (Orly), Santorini and Valencia. Even more flights are planned from summer 2026, with almost 100 frequencies per week.

In addition, as part of its expansion and commitment to the local aviation community, the company is actively recruiting pilots. The airline will host two recruitment events in Rome, from 12 to 15 and 24 to 27 October 2025, to recruit eligible Captains and Pilot Officers with experience.

Wizz Air's investment in Rome is further highlighted by its Training Center near Fiumicino Airport, inaugurated on 1 October 2024, which boasts three Full Flight Simulators operating 24/7.
