Volotea launches the Palermo-Paris Orly route

From Palermo airport, the connection is available from 3 April 2026 with a weekly frequency every Friday
Volotea, the airline that connects medium-sized cities in Europe, continues to invest in Palermo and, from April 3, 2026, will inaugurate a new direct route to Paris Orly, operated every Friday. The connection will offer a total of about 10,000 seats and will further enrich the carrier's international offer from the Sicilian airport.

With this novelty, the company consolidates the connections between Sicily and France, where it already serves nine destinations: Bordeaux, Brest, Deauville, Lille, Lyon, Lourdes, Nantes, Strasbourg and Toulouse.

In 2026, the company will operate a total of 20 routes from Palermo: 5 in Italy (Florence, Naples, Olbia, Venice and Verona), 10 in France (including the new Paris - Orly Airport), 4 in Greece (Athens, Heraklion, Santorini and Zakynthos) and 1 in Spain (Bilbao).

The introduction of the flight to Paris Orly at Falcone e Borsellino Airport confirms the strategy of Volotea and the management company Gesap in strengthening Palermo's international connectivity, enhancing the role of Falcone e Borsellino airport as a reference point for tourist flows in the Mediterranean.
