The airline will increase capacity from the airport by 27%, adding more than 640,000 seats compared to the previous season.

During the press conference, held in Milan for the launch of the new destinations, it was pointed out that between Milan Malpensa (MXP) and Milan Bergamo Airport (BGY), the carrier will offer 8.7 million seats in winter 2026, up 11%, on a total network of 125 routes, of which 10 are new (6 from Malpensa and 4 from Bergamo).

The strengthening of the offer at Malpensa will also contribute to reaching the 21 million passengers per year expected overall at the two Milanese airports.

Ryanair's fleet based between Malpensa and Bergamo will increase to 33 aircraft, for a total investment indicated by Ryanair at $3.3 billion. The company also estimates that its operations in the area will support more than 16,200 local jobs in Lombardy.
