Volotea's Comiso-Verona connection restarts
The Comiso-Verona connection, operated by Volotea, is officially on sale and will be operational again from 31 March until the end of October, with two weekly frequencies, every Tuesday and Friday.
The reactivation of the route represents a strategic opportunity for tourism in south-eastern Sicily, offering Travellers from Northern Italy direct access to one of the most fascinating areas of the Mediterranean.
The flight allows passengers departing from Verona airport to quickly reach the province of Ragusa, known for its Baroque art, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the beaches of the Hyblean coast and a food and wine offer increasingly appreciated by international travellers.
For Volotea, the route further enriches the portfolio of air connections between Verona and Sicily, which already includes Catania, Lampedusa, Palermo and Pantelleria, thus expanding the possibilities of travel to the island during the summer season.
