Transavia connects Amsterdam to Trieste in summer 2027
Transavia will add Trieste to the 2027 summer network from Amsterdam, moving the connection operated so far from Rotterdam to the Dutch capital. The company justifies the choice with stronger demand on the route both departing and arriving.
For Italian passengers departing from Trieste Airport (TRS), the novelty means a direct flight with Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS), useful both for city breaks in the Netherlands and for tourist flows to Friuli Venezia Giulia. Trieste is in fact a gateway not only to the city, but also to the Adriatic coast, the Karst and other regional destinations, both for short urban stays and for longer holidays by the sea.
Transavia's 2027 summer season will extend from April to October. A first part of the flights had already gone on sale in June, while the rest of the program will be bookable from 16 September 2026. Overall, Transavia's summer network will include 87 destinations and 162 routes.
