New Pisa-Belgrade flight by Wizz Air

Connection twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, operated with the Airbus A321neo. The carrier also flies from Pisa to Bucharest, Katowice, Tirana and Warsaw

Wizz Air has announced the launch of the new direct Pisa–Belgrade flight, designed to strengthen tourist flows and respond to the growing demand for business travel between Italy and Serbia. The Serbian capital, located where the Danube and Sava meet, is a dynamic destination that combines the historic Kalemegdan Fortress, bohemian neighborhoods such as Skadarlija and one of the most famous nightlife in Europe.

The new flight will take off twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, and is operated with the Airbus A321neo, one of the most efficient aircraft in the Wizz Air fleet in terms of reduced fuel consumption, lower emissions and superior comfort on board.

With the entry of Belgrade, Wizz Air brings to five the destinations connected directly to Pisa, alongside Tirana, Katowice, Warsaw and Bucharest (Otopeni).

Pisa Airport (PSA) recorded particularly positive results in 2025: over 1,700 flights operated, almost 385,000 passengers transported (+12.6%), a completion rate of 99.9%, punctuality up by 13.63% and an 80% drop in cancellations.

Toscana Aeroporti highlighted the value of the novelty, underlining how the connection with the Serbian capital expands relations with a strategic area of the Balkans, promoting tourism and economic exchanges and making Pisa an increasingly accessible and competitive hub.

In Italy, Wizz Air consolidates its presence with over 250 active routes to more than 30 countries, 26 airports served and a development plan that is part of the Customer First Compass program, a €14 billion investment intended to further improve the quality, flexibility and convenience of the travel experience.
